hi again,

this is a picture of me, kelly and aaron, my language group and best friends, with our three teachers, Caro, Emily and Agnes. Each taught us for three weeks during our 10 week period in Kitui. They taught us Swahili and Culture. Kitui was hot and dry and now in Msau it is hotter but now in the rain season. The bridge to our village was washed away two days ago so we wade through deep water to get places. soon i will post photos from my home Msau. until then please post questions too so i can answer them here rather than to each person indivdually.

i’ll wirte more next time now i want to figure out this photo.

love you all, merry christmas

    Hi Bob!
The picture isn’t coming up on my work computer but I will try again from home. Do you like where you are living and the people you are living with? What will you be teaching in January and what age group? Do you have to teach in Swahili or English? Finally, what kinds of things have you been eating? Anything that surprised you as being really good?
That’s enough questions for now! This is very cool that you are able to blog; it’s a great way to share pictures and stories with everyone! I hope to talk to you soon! Love you!
    Love, Mary

HI, Bobby! It is very cold here today…and if you’d have been here this weekend, you would have done a lot of shoveling! We had such a warm fall, but since December came in, it has felt like mid-winter. I keep up with your doings through your mom…I saw her on Saturday at Sarah’s house. Jack is convinced that Santa is really Rich! We all enjoy that. Jack is beginning to talk quite a bit now. He is growing up too fast! I hope you are enjoying things there. Take care…Merry Christmas! love, Eileen
